Closet Credits

Swap My Credits are our in-platform shopping currency. They allow members to shop other closets on Swap My Collective without paying retail.

1 Credit = $1 toward pieces listed for Credits.

How to earn Credits

  • 5 Credits every 5 pieces you list
  • One-time welcome bonus the moment your membership starts — Essential 10, Elevated 20
  • The full Credit value when one of your pieces sells — no platform fee
  • 5 Credits when a friend you referred becomes a member

How long do Credits last?

12 months
Credits expire 12 months from when they're earned (rolling basis)

How Credits are used

  1. 01
    Credits can be used to purchase pieces listed for Credits.
  2. 02
    Every new piece on Swap My is listed for Credits.
  3. 03
    Some earlier pieces are still priced in cash — those are purchased with cash.

Purchasing additional Credits

If you don't have enough Credits at checkout, you can purchase additional Credits to complete a Credit-based purchase.

Purchased Credits can only be used on pieces listed for Credits.

Why some pieces are still priced in cash

Swap My used to let sellers price each piece in cash or in Credits. New listings are now Credits only — but the cash pieces that were already up were left exactly as they were:

  • Existing cash listings stay exactly as their seller priced them
  • Nothing was converted without the seller asking
  • Cash pieces are bought with cash and pay out to the seller
  • Sellers can switch their remaining cash listings over to Credits whenever they like

Cash and Credits never mix in a single purchase, so pricing always stays clear.
